Aleksey Garber, You Are Not Alone
Good Day, Mr. Kubrick (via Brandon)
There’s no entry for him on IMDB, so I’m guessing the acting thing didn’t work out too well.

Funny thing is that it reminds me of Brandon doing one of his crazy guys. Heh.

Oh and he might not be in IMDB, but he is easily found via Zabasearch.com. Apparently he’s back at home in PA.

I’m confused. The linked to page says the film was sent to Kubrick when he was casting FMJ in 1984, but the clip itself claims to be from 1963. In the clip, he does a scene he claims is “loosely based upon” S.E. Hinton’s “The Outsiders”, which according to Amazon was published in 1967.

1963 is the actor’s birth date. He is basing his performance on the Outsiders movie, from which there is a real excerpt at the end of the clip…

D’oh! Right. Somehow, his mannerisms seemed more 1963 than 1984 to me, I guess.
Have you seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVruXIbA4tw (allegedly the same guy, 22 years later)?
