What can you say? Timothy's 13 year quest to become one with the Pooh finally succeeded. This would have been the best Ace Ventura movie of all time. I love the part where, in response to some jerks tossing rocks at one of his bear buddies, Timothy - done up in camo makeup - hides in the bushes ( "find a happy place," "find a happy place"). Some bear protector! Can't you see Jim Carrey doing this while the bear kicks major ass in the background?!? Too perfect. I'm sure this numbskull's exploits will inspire another "kind warrior" to take his place at the bear snack bar. Oi vay. So what did he really do? He habituated a bunch of bears to human presence (which essentially means their survival is now more precarious) while contributing nothing of scientific value about them - got one of the bears killed, not to mention his GF, not a bad days work all in all. Timmy should have stayed home with his hottie, gotten himself a good therapist and some reruns of Yogi and Booboo stealing picnic baskets in Jellystone. Alas, I predict this will be the movie that the anti-environmental crowd will point to as representative of those who sincerely want to protect the planet. Even though I'm a committed Darwinian, I have to admit that the bear eating Tim does suggest some kind of intelligent design.

Yes, hearty congratulations are in order for the bear. Too bad they shot him later on. Should have given him medal, and a constant supply of food in the form of dirty hippy activists who think animals are people.
