I liked the first line of the 2nd post: ‘Reading the Supreme Court�s decision on the eminent domain land grab in New London, Buck thought he was hallucinating. �What am I doing on the same side as Rehnquist, Scalia, and Thomas?� he wondered in an email.’ And, no, I have no idea who Buck is.

I think I’m a moderate Republican. Like a Colin Powell type.

The republicans that are in power are not moderate. They’re fucking evil. They ignore the environment, they ignore abuse of inmates, they trumpet a whole bunch of Christian Terri Shiavo bullshit, they lie, they cheat, they steal.

We need more McCains…, fewer Bill Frists, Rick Santorums, Rummy’s, Cheney’s, Bolton’s…

yes, the left is pro-biz too. i didn’t dispute that (they accepted paid vacations just like ridge).
but the extent of right’s involvement and their continued disavowment of wrongdoing make it impossible for me think the two parties actions are comparable.
consider what rove said about democrats supporting terrorists and then scott McClellan’s support for rove— it boggles the mind.
consider the fact the chairman and CEO of CPB is a former republican party chairman, who has gone on the record of saying there needs to be less anti-bush reporting…

I agree with you on the supreme court ruling. what i’m concerned with is the manner in which you defend your party by arguing, hey liberals are bad too. to me the scale and relevancy is so off that to suggest otherwise is hyperbole.

defending Bush’s energy task force by shifting focus onto clinton is an overearch. Clinton was not a little angel (e.g. pardoning mark rich), but the level of complicity, and the resultant impact on the rest of the world puts bush and clinton in 2 different playing fields.
