Rain in LA

It’s raining here in Los Angeles, as it has been for the last couple
of days, and according to weather forecasts, as it will for the next
few as well. It’s actually gotten beyond what the rest of the country
would call “a mist” to a full-on rain. (Not quite at the point where
it could be called a thunderstorm.)

While the natives of Southern California may lament this type of
weather, I love it. Few things are more pleasant than reading a book
or falling asleep to the sound of rain against the window. Some may
also question the sincerity of this statement, but combined with the
gray overcast skies, it really does make me homesick a bit.

I love the rainy overcast weather. I grew up in Southern California and yet, I prefer the weather in San Francisco and Seattle. I love the coming of fall each year.

I loved the weather yesterday with all the rain. I could drive around recklessly yet safely in my AWD. Also I’ve found that my house actually keeps the rain out.

I just wish it would snow out here sometime. We put up temporary shades on some of the windows so that people can’t see in while we’re on vacation. And they happen to reflect lots of white light into the room, which reminds me of what it looks like when snow is covering the ground outside.

Wow, for once I agree with both Ben & Khayman.

    Feel the love.

  4. Craig Says:

    I don’t question your sincerity Bill, but . . . you’re gay.

  5. Bill Says:

Craig, be careful — remember I have a photo from this past weekend of you kissing another man.

  6. Pat Says:

Technically, he was licking, not kissing…

  7. Bill Says:

True, but I trying to make him seem less gay.
